Carn Bren Publishing, established in 2019, is a Sutherland-based small publishing company aiming to publish local magazines and high quality books with a Highland theme.
Our first project is the KYLE CHRONICLE, the first independent news magazine for the communities of the Kyle of Sutherland.
The quarterly news magazine released in Winter 2019 features local news and exclusive content, including guides to local services and events. Copies are distributed in the Creich and Ardgay & District CC areas in partnership with the Kyle of Sutherland Development Trust and with support from local Community Councils. Our future projects include fresh takes on travel guides and history books showcasing the rich natural and cultural heritage of the Highlands of Scotland. We are currently accepting manuscripts.
